Western U Grad Tim Warmels Named The Bachelor Canada [Video]

I was never really too interested in The Bachelor, or The Bachelor Canada for that matter, until I found out that this season’s beau was none other than fellow Western University Graduate Tim Warmels.
This 28 year old alumnus of the Richard Ivey School of business was raised in Campbellville, Ontario, where it is said he was “as handy with a horse as he is with a hockey stick,” growing up. After graduating from The Barking Frog UWO, he became an investment banker in Toronto, and is now a successful tech entrepreneur. In his spare time Tim makes furniture and does a bit of modeling, but he’s willing to set all that aside for a while, and try to find love… in a very public way.
Anybody that has ever crossed paths with Tim is already incredibly stoked to see what kind of antics he pulls during City TV 10-episode run of this season. The Bachelor Canada press releases last week resulted in a flurry of #tbt Tim Warmels posts on Facebook and Instagram, and of course videos of Tim from his time at Trend Hunter (see below) and Autoerotique’s Asphyxiation music video are bound to go viral all over again in the months to come.
Trust me when I say that this dude really knows how to have a good time, and you can expect this season to blow last season’s premier ratings out of the water.

Okay…so when people say this guys was an investment banker, that is a flat out lie. He did a summer internship at Canaccord Genuiy where he rotated through different departments and spent maybe a third of the time in investment banking. At best, Canaccord is a third tier investment bank, and there is no plausible way this guy can claim to be a banker.
