Jessie’s Closet: 5 Holiday Fashion Tips

Hello beautiful people! Christmas is just around the corner, and I’d like to share some cute fashion tips that you can use for your next holiday gathering!

1. Your Ugly Sweater

Yes, you heard me right! Forget about the overrated tight, sexy club dress that you see EVERYONE wear, and stand out at your party (and keep warm) by rocking a cute oversized cheesy sweater! If you pair it right with skin hugging tights and/or fashionable boots, you can definitely turn this ugly sweater that’s probably been sitting in your closet for years into a stylish fashion statement.

PS: You dont need to worry about over-indulging in all that holiday treats with these sweaters…

2. Sparkly Nails

The holiday season is the perfect time for you to “overdo” your nails. Try different colour combinations, sparkles, glitters, even dramatic fake nails. You can also design your own, like I’ve done here!

3. Rock A Dark Lip

To avoid looking “too festive,” you can add some edge to your ensemble by applying a dark berry coloured lip. This is a great twist to the classic glam red lip, and will definitely make you stand out!

4. Dramatic Hair

You can really play around here, maybe try a hairstyle that you wouldn’t normally wear? But just remember this is Christmas, not Halloween! Be your own pro hair stylist, and use this opportunity to unleash your inner creative energy!

5. A Good Heart

The holiday season is all about giving; I just love all the loving and warm energy you can feel on the cold streets. Use this opportunity to give back to the community, because there are so many ways! You can donate your old clothes, buy lunch for the homeless, adopt an abandoned pet… the sky is the limit! When you give, you will receive instant joy and reciprocal love from the universe!
