Sweating is the body’s natural air conditioning system. Sweating is the process of secreting water (and toxins) through the skin’s surface, caused from an elevated heart rate from things like movement such as exercise, heat such as a sauna, sickness such as fever and some people even sweat from embarrassment or nervousness (everyone is different).
Sweating is one of the best things you can do for yourself on a regular basis!! I highly recommend doing it every single day!! It doesn’t always have to be vigorous, anything to get your sweat on and out, just make sure to keep yourself Hydrated (exercise or not)!!! I highly recommend hydrating with water or lemon water, coconut water and herbal teas 4 ounces every half hour. Avoid sodas, juice and other sugary beverages, especially sports drinks with high claims and weird ingredients.
Here Are 5 Benefits To Sweating Regularly:
1) Detoxing. The skin is the largest organ in the body, and sweating is a natural detox mechanism to remove the toxins and disease out of your body, not to mention the alcohol you may have had to drink last night! Sweating aids in detoxing your entire body especially your liver, kidney’s and lungs. About 30% of the body’s waste is eliminated through sweating.
2) Lower Stress. Endorphins are produced and released when you sweat! This is a natural morphine, produced during activities such as exercise, excitement, orgasm resemble the opium in it’s abilities to produce a feeling of well-being, which creates a positive effect on your mood and stress levels.
3) Beauty. Sweating can reverse the signs of aging by unclogging pores (sweat comes from pores). It improves the skin’s tone, flexibility and clarity, giving you that natural glow.
4) General Health. Sweating boosts immunity to sickness and lowers cholesterol.
5) Weight-loss. You often hear the saying “water weight.” Sweating helps in aiding the flush of fluids from the body, toxic or not. As you heat up from exercising you not only burn calories, but sweating is also a great indication that you’re burning fat and effectively exercising. Make sure you stay well-hydrated; your body won’t burn through fat without adequate hydration.
