We have always been huge supporters of local music, and today we’re very excited to introduce you to a DJ/producing duo that is going to be absolutely massive in the months to come. Hailing from Toronto, Act!On is comprised of a pair of veteran DJs who have about a decade’s worth of experience between them, and have come together to turn the scene on its ear.
Their first release, a re-imagining of Disclosure’s “White Noise,” is evidence of this, as instead of flipping the original vocal sample, they opted to remix MNEK‘s a cappella version of the song. The result is a sound that stands out completely from any remix we’ve ever heard!
This track has already been featured by both EarMilk and SalaciousSound with positive reviews, and it’s also getting a lot of love on HypeM.
