I’m a self-proclaimed mediaphile, and if you’re even a little bit like me, you’ve found yourself trying to explain to a friend or family member who “isn’t into TV shows” why you’re so enthralled by one that might seem less than conventional, but failing to convey your excitement without also ruining the plot, or sounding like a raving idiot.
