The sordid tale of Donald Sterling vs Black People has come to an end (kind of), as the NBA handed down a lifetime ban, a fine of $2.5 million, and the forced sale of his Los Angeles Clippers franchise. This was of course in response to recent racist statements, made by Sterling, that came to light after his mistress, V. Stiviano, released audio recordings to the media of a particularly incriminating phone conversation they had about Black people attending Clippers games, and her association with Magic Johnson in particular.

There have been many very interesting responses to this controversy online, including some enlightening words from Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and I’m sure your own social feed is full of uninformed opinions, but more importantly there are memes. Glorious, glorious memes.
