We’ve been running our Tumblr Threads Of Absolute Random Hilarity column for over a year now, and in that time I’ve come across a number these “That’s The Evilest Thing I Can Imagine” image macros, so I finally decided to put together a compilation.

The original image is from an episode of the Power Puff Girls, as part of the episode when the show’s regular villains were trying to commit crimes that would impress the RowdyRuff Boys. In response to Brick (one of the RRBs) informing the villains that the only way to impress them is to kill the PowerPuff Girls, Mojo Jojo has a moment with HIM, and through tears of twisted joy exclaims, “Why, that’s the evilest thing I can imagine.”

Years later, this seemingly insignificant line, from a show forgotten by most, has resurfaced as one of my favourite Tumblr trends. In part, I love this meme because its brought some of my favourite prank photos back into relevance, as well as shed light on a few new gems. Here are some of my favourites.
