Over the last few months, a friend of mine kept telling me that I had to check out the TSA’s Instagram account, which sounded really weird to me, until I actually did, and I was not disappointed.

I’m not sure who told them this was a good idea, but the TSA has been posting Instagram photos of some of the strange things that they confiscate, and you can imagine how weird some of these items might get. Everything from ninja stars to lipstick knives and Batarangs to katana’s, these are all real items found in luggage that people tried to carry onto airplanes with them… Keeping in mind that there are many more guns that were not confiscated, because registered firearms are allowed on airlines, but not registered blades… ‘MURICA!
