37 Best Game Of Thrones “Mountain vs Viper” Episode Memes & Gifs [Spoiler]

We haven’t done one of these Game Of Thrones meme roundups in a while, but due to the incredibly awesome nature of this week’s “The Mountain and The Viper” episode (Season 4, Episode 8) I just couldn’t resist. Thanks mostly to the good people of Reddit for these gems.
If you have NOT watched this week’s episode, then go no further. If you’re like me and you’ve read the books beforehand, then you’re more than ready to relive every second of this epic episode over and over again.
There were so many standout performances this week, but none greater than Pedro Pascal‘s, the man playing the role of Prince Oberyn Martell of Dorne. His death of course opens the door for an entirely new facet of the Westeros “big picture,” as the nation of Dorne has had little to do with the televised story thus far, but it will be playing a major part in the future, as one of the continent’s major political powers.
Pedro did a perfect job of making the audience fall completely in love with Oberyn’s character, just in time for George RR Martin to have him brutally murdered… We never learn.
If you can’t get enough of Pedro, check out his AMA on Reddit, and you can also watch out footage of him training for the big fight scene below.
Arya and Sansa Stark both deserve notable mention for their closing scenes in this episode. I’m curious to see how HBO adapts their stories from here on in, as there are only a handful of episodes left in this season, and there are a few hard plot pivots around this time in the novels.
Sunday feels so far away, but until then, there are memes… and if you’re anything like this guy, there’s also rage… #neckbeard
- Someone should put him on suicide watch…
