Mobile phones: To die for

Cell phones are essential in much of our day-to-day lives…or are they? Cellular devices rely on the need for immediacy and instant gratification. For example, Japanese internet use via cell phones has outpaced home or wireless internet use since 2007. If we were more patient, could we live life without such devices?
