So You’re Angry “The Bachelor” Jake Pavelka Picked Vienna

Let me start off by saying “Yes, I watched The Bachelor”.

I’ve been hearing a whole lot of talk about “Vienna this, Vienna that”, “She looks like a man”, “Jake is an idiot”, etc, etc.

Jake picking Vienna? That was a no-brainer! Did you watch the show? I mean really watch it and not just pay attention to the meaningless details.  I picture crowded rooms of girls making the comments “Oh, I love her dress”, “OMG did she really just say that”, “That girl is such a bitch”, and the list goes on.

Am I wrong?

Anyway back to my point.  I called him picking Vienna a long time ago. I think I started watching the show when there were about 18 girls or so left, and I’d say by the time it was down to 15 I had her picked as the winner.  The more I watched the easier it was to justify.

Is Tenley better looking? Debatable… I say Yes, she is.

Better body? Yep, did you see those calves? I sure as hell did.

Does she seem a little more emotionally stable? Again, debatable. She was a wreck at times, but Vienna is a HUGE daddy’s girl and who knows how often she’s had to deal with issues herself.

Did Tenley seem like a better person? Probably.

Now back to my point.  Did you actually pay attention to the interaction between Jake and each of the girls? Of course it’s a TV show and they pick and choose what airs, but Jake and Tenley were PAINFUL together.  How hard is it to have a good time with someone in the most beautiful places in the world? And they just couldn’t do it.  It was forced. The whole way through it was forced.

Take another example: Gia. My vote for the most attractive on the show (though she was a bit of a two-face at time). PAINFUL together. When it works its easy, when it doesn’t its forced.  Being beautiful does not mean you are a good match for anyone. I’m pretty sure in the end it doesn’t matter who you would pick….or does it?

Nope, not even a little bit.

Now on the other hand take the winner, Vienna.  They encountered probably every possible road block and in the end it just worked. It was honest, and bottom line was they had FUN. It didn’t seem like a TV show.  It didn’t seem like every date was full of these overly serious interview questions about “the future”.  They just went with the flow and in my humble opinion that is the way it should be.
