Sandra Kirilovic Presents: Miss Universe Canada 2010′s Top 12

With their PRE-VALENTINE’S DAY EVENT coming up  this Friday and CHARITABLE AUCTION for SOS Village still going strong, I asked Sandra Kirilovic if she wouldn’t mind sharing her thoughts on the other members of Miss Universe Canada’s Top 12 from the GTA! She sent us the following:

A big thanks to all those who have supported my quest to become Miss Universe Canada 2010. I assure you that I am working hard- everyday at 11:11 I am in the zone! But I also have 11 other teammates who are vying for the crown. These girls are my friends and I thought it would be nice to give you a little dirt… I mean background info on them Enjoy.

Ada Arnautovic

Ada is a very sweet and intelligent girl. One thing I love about Ada is how genuine she is, she truly wears her heart on her sleeve. She is currently finishing teachers college. As well, Ada is also a successful Toronto model and an aspiring actress. I think Angelina should watch out

Ava Ferdowsmakan

Outgoing, friendly, the life of the party… that’s Ava! One thing you can be sure of is when Ava is around there will never be a dull moment. Ava is also probably one of the most organized people I have ever met! Sometimes I wish I could take her to school with me and get her to write my notes At any rate, she hopes to be a doctor one day and there is no doubt in my mind that this girl will be the top of her medical school class.

Belinda Kim

Belinda has one rocking body. This girl means business in a bathing suit. She is a personal trainer and yoga instructor for eXtreme Fitness. She has appeared on various television segments explaining work out routines and healthy living. Diana Varvarici

Diana is a salsa dancing machine! She might be of Eastern European decent, but she can give any Latino a run for their money. Diana is a business oriented kind of woman, she even has a full scholarship from TD Bank. Not only that, but Diana is a very kind and gentle person at heart- a true friend. Needless to say, she has it all: beauty, brains, and rhythm

Jelena Pejic

What can I say, she’s my fellow Serbian girl!! Jelena was actually Miss Serbia and Montenegro back in 2004 when she represented her country at the Miss World pageant. Now Jelena is living in Canada and running for Miss Universe Canada. Jelena is smart, funny, outgoing, caring, creative, beautiful… naturally the list goes on, she is Serbian after all

Jennifer Wheater

The photographer turned supermodel, Jen is taking a new step in life and getting on the other side of the camera. And camera shy is one thing this girl is not! She is always ready to show off her great body and pretty smile. On a more intimate level, Jen is super friendly, loves to laugh, and very focused…. and not to get all Jersey Shore here… but she’s got a “sick tan.”

Katie Starke

Katie Starke… I love this girl! Where to begin? Well last year Katie was Miss Teen World Canada. She’s also a great model… you know 5’11, blonde hair, blue eyes. But don’t let those looks deceive you, as Katie is also a really good hockey player. She plays varsity at her university (York U), but she is currently taking some time off due to a concussion (yeah she’s tough like that LOL). Katie is very much an awesome girl to hang out with! Megan Franklin

My fellow Niagaran! Megan is a professional wine condesour who decided to get involved in the field of beauty. There’s no doubt in anyone’s mind that she is beautiful, but she is also very sophisticated, intelligent, funny, and calm. Like most Niagarans, Megan rowed when she was younger, so you know this girl has ambition, passion, and tough skin.

Netasha Ramganesh

Netasha is a sweetheart. She is so kind to everyone and someone you really know that you can trust. She always seems so genuinely happy, the kind of person you can tell is really going to enjoy life for all it is worth. Netasha is no stranger to pageants, as she also competed in Miss World Canada previous to Miss Universe Canada. Despite her success, Netasha always has a good head on her shoulders, and she is one of the most down-to-earth people I know.

Paisley McNab

Paisley is unique and one of the most interesting people you could ever meet. Whether she is talking to you about how she is a former Miss Teen Worldwide winner or her love of her Hindu religion- this girl will have you captivated with her conversation. That is really one thing I love about her- you can always have an interesting and meaningful conversation when you’re around Paisley.

Polina Lukashova

From Russia with love… Polina! Polina is beautiful. She is a Ford model and fierce on the runway. She won U of T’s Next Top Model and has had a very successful career. Currently, Polina is finishing up her degree in economics (kudos to anyone who can survive 4 years of economics!) She is also a very caring and compassionate woman who is always there for people.

Now it’s time to toot my own horn!! Just kidding! But really I am thankful to have met these girls, and as much as I would love to be Miss Universe Canada, I would still be very proud if any of these ladies got the title
