Miller got into a post-fight brawl in the cage after after a fight between Jake Shields and Dan Henderson. The cause of the Mayhem Miller post-fight brawl remains unclear. After the Shields-Henderson fight, Mayhem Miller got into Shields’ face. Shield pushed Miller and all hell broke loose.
CBS announcer Gus Johnson, best known for high-energy play-by-pay during college basketball games, tried to break up the post-fight brawl, shouting “Gentleman, please! We are on national television!”
How Did the Mayhem Miller Brawl Start?
Mayhem Miller interrupted a Jake Shields post-fight interview. Miller says, “What’s up, where’s my rematch, buddy?”
The director quickly cuts away from the scene. Just as quickly, the director cuts back to the cage where chaos reigns. Miller seems to have mixed it up with Nick Diaz and other members of Shields’ crew.
Dana White Reacts on Twitter
The normally verbose Dana White had a brief response to the Mayhem Miller-Nick Diaz Strikeforce brawl. After the scrap, White simply tweeted a happy face:
Mayhem Miller himself had an equally brief Twitter response to the brawl:
The Mayhem Miller Brawl was one part of a Strikeforce fight card that some are saying left a lot to be desired.
Of course, it could be argued that this might not be a bad thing for Strikeforce. After all, people are bound to talk about the Mayhem Miller Strikeforce brawl. Sometimes any publicity is good publicity.
