I love an aggressive man … errr… hockey game.  Nothing is more thrilling than watching a macho man, decked out in hockey gear, flying across the ice at top speed and with perfect timing annihilate another player to the point where they pronounce their Russian name in French.  Think that’s not possible? This is probably the most awkward hit I have ever witnessed and the accompanying music certainly adds to that.  Sean Avery displays impeccable form of the almost-there dolphin dive… the one time he probably wishes the ice weren’t so solid.

Probably one of the most outrageous hockey hits I’ve ever seen. I will never forget the time and place and the reaction of everyone around me when this overtime playoff hit happened! The question remains…how do you want your ‘Umberger’ served? How about with a side of shoulder and a concussion for dessert? Yeah. That’ll do.  Just give me a chocolate milkshake to go along with it to soothe the pain.
