Caitlin’s Corner: 5 Minute Mini Workout For When You’re On The Go!

Do you have a spare 5 minutes? Then you can work out. While this isn’t a quick fix to lose pounds overnight, or replace a regular workout, every little bit helps when it comes to weight loss and your health. This is great if you are traveling and there is no gym at your hotel, or right before you head off to take a shower in the morning. Put on your favorite song and do a mini workout to get your blood flowing.

5 Minute Mini Workout:

30 Jumping Jacks

30 Push Ups

25 Ab Crunches

25 Raised leg Ab crunches (knees bent in air creating 90 degree angle)

25 Straight leg Ab crunches (hold legs straight in the air)

20 Squats

20 Lunges

10 Jump Squats (Squat, jump in the air, land and lower into a squat position, repeat for 10 times)

30 Jumping Jacks

These little workouts will definitely get your blood flowing and give you energy throughout the day. If you have more time, you could always take a short rest and repeat the set for another 5, 10, 15 minutes. For best results, push yourself to not take a break between exercises until the very end of the set.
