So nobody else in Canada cared about this thing besides us until Tiffany Munroe started smack-talking African children, and of course nobody in ze uniwerse cared about this pageant until Sophie Froment said “No, I won’t get naked on tape before the pageant… Yeah, I got naked on tape before the pageant!” essentially disqualifying herself and potentially launching her acting/singing/modeling career (we’re on Team Sophie 100%). So we consider ourselves to be the resident experts on the MUC 2010 pageant. Tonight (Monday June 14th at 7pm) the final round of the pageant will narrow the contestants down to 20, 15, and eventually 1 lucky (hopefully record free) winner. We’ve already told you who the fast track  winners were, and you’ve seen the top 12 from the GTA, and you can take a look at all 63 girls, but we’ve got insider information (from a gentleman we’ll refer to as the “Beer Baron” henceforth) that leads us to believe the top 20 (and quite possibly the winner) will be comprised of this selection:

Sandra Kirilovic – Ok, we’ve got a bit of a bias here, but Sandra is a true contender in this pageant. She’s a seasoned pageant girl, she’s got a smile that would make Dick Cheney’s heart melt, and she’s one of us (let’s go UWO), so she’s got our number one spot, and the rest are in no real order.

Ashley CallingBull – This young lady is the only Aboriginal Canadian contestant in the pageant, and we think it’s about damn time one of our Nation’s First People took the crown… we’ve taken pretty much everything else.

Elena Semikina – This one sounds like my kind of woman at a statuesque 6’1″, the Beer Baron reports she looked amazing in her dress (showing lots of skin), however there was a bit of controversy, because she missed her entry point and came out at the end of the evening wear segment. But Tiffany got Miss Elegance, so anything is possible. [Ed. Remember when I said anything is possible?... ELENA WON!!!!!]

Jelena Pejic – She won miss Serbia in 2003 and went on to compete in Miss World that year… so it’s almost unfair that she’s even in this pageant? Whatever, she’s hot and she knows what’s up. That earns a co-sign.

Aleksandra Malkin – Was made for the stage. She was in the top 5 in last year’s pageant, and has been touted by many as the crown bearer for this year’s pageant.

Ashley Avery – Ashley is from Newfoundland and proud of it. We think that if she won, she’d be a hilariously entertaining representation of the nation on the whole.

Ava Ferdowsmaken – I know this is kind of cliche, but Ava is a really down to Earth kind of girl. The Beer Baron and I agree that besides Belinda Kim Yoga Queen, Ava has got one of the best bodies in this contest. Here’s to working out and eating healthy. We’ve been saying it on this website for years!

Breanna Palmer – She looks like Catherine Zeta Jones… Yeah, I went there.

Katie Starke – She’s on a full scholarship at York U for academics and hockey… and she was Miss Teen Canada 2008… marry me.

Theresa Crame – The Beer Baron and I lost our tickets to the Gun Show… Theresa found them. Byaaah!
